The 78-day long #NATO aggression against Yugoslavia began 2⃣4️⃣ years ago, on March 24, 1999.
❌ Barbaric air strikes killed about 2,000 civilians, including 89 children. Thousands of civilian facilities were destroyed in dozens of cities. The #Kosovo Autonomous Province was forcibly separated from the country. Over 200,000 local non-Albanian residents were forced to leave their homes. Acting under cover of NATO air strikes, Kosovo’s Albanians committed horrendous crimes, including the abduction of Serbs for illegally selling their organs. However, no charges have been brought against them as of yet.

❌ According to available sources, 2,300 missiles were launched and 14,000 bombs, including munitions with depleted uranium and cluster bombs, dropped during the 1999 NATO aggression against Yugoslavia. Specialists from Russia’s Emergency Ministry have been implementing humanitarian demining in Serbia since 2008 and have defused numerous unexploded NATO munitions.
